Quran quotes about inner peace (Sakina) — tranquility through remembrance of Allah.
دَعوىٰهُم فيها سُبحٰنَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَتَحِيَّتُهُم فيها سَلٰمٌ ۚ وَءاخِرُ دَعوىٰهُم أَنِ الحَمدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ العٰلَمينَ١٠
Their call therein will be, "Exalted are You, O Allah," and their greeting therein will be, "Peace." And the last of their call will be, "Praise to Allah, Lord of the worlds
مَن كَفَرَ بِاللَّهِ مِن بَعدِ إيمٰنِهِ إِلّا مَن أُكرِهَ وَقَلبُهُ مُطمَئِنٌّ بِالإيمٰنِ وَلٰكِن مَن شَرَحَ بِالكُفرِ صَدرًا فَعَلَيهِم غَضَبٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَلَهُم عَذابٌ عَظيمٌ١٠٦
Whoever disbelieves in Allah after his belief... except for one who is forced [to renounce his religion] while his heart is secure in faith. But those who [willingly] open their breasts to disbelief, upon them is wrath from Allah, and for them is a great punishment;
قُلِ الحَمدُ لِلَّهِ وَسَلٰمٌ عَلىٰ عِبادِهِ الَّذينَ اصطَفىٰ ۗ ءاللَّهُ خَيرٌ أَمّا يُشرِكونَ٥٩
Say, [O Muhammad], "Praise be to Allah, and peace upon His servants whom He has chosen. Is Allah better or what they associate with Him
فَرَدَدنٰهُ إِلىٰ أُمِّهِ كَى تَقَرَّ عَينُها وَلا تَحزَنَ وَلِتَعلَمَ أَنَّ وَعدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ وَلٰكِنَّ أَكثَرَهُم لا يَعلَمونَ١٣
So We restored him to his mother that she might be content and not grieve and that she would know that the promise of Allah is true. But most of the people do not know
فَكُلى وَاشرَبى وَقَرّى عَينًا ۖ فَإِمّا تَرَيِنَّ مِنَ البَشَرِ أَحَدًا فَقولى إِنّى نَذَرتُ لِلرَّحمٰنِ صَومًا فَلَن أُكَلِّمَ اليَومَ إِنسِيًّا٢٦
So eat and drink and be contented. And if you see from among humanity anyone, say, 'Indeed, I have vowed to the Most Merciful abstention, so I will not speak today to [any] man
إِذ تَمشى أُختُكَ فَتَقولُ هَل أَدُلُّكُم عَلىٰ مَن يَكفُلُهُ ۖ فَرَجَعنٰكَ إِلىٰ أُمِّكَ كَى تَقَرَّ عَينُها وَلا تَحزَنَ ۚ وَقَتَلتَ نَفسًا فَنَجَّينٰكَ مِنَ الغَمِّ وَفَتَنّٰكَ فُتونًا ۚ فَلَبِثتَ سِنينَ فى أَهلِ مَديَنَ ثُمَّ جِئتَ عَلىٰ قَدَرٍ يٰموسىٰ٤٠
[And We favored you] when your sister went and said, 'Shall I direct you to someone who will be responsible for him?' So We restored you to your mother that she might be content and not grieve. And you killed someone, but We saved you from retaliation and tried you with a [severe] trial. And you remained [some] years among the people of Madyan. Then you came [here] at the decreed time, O Moses
وَأَن أَلقِ عَصاكَ ۖ فَلَمّا رَءاها تَهتَزُّ كَأَنَّها جانٌّ وَلّىٰ مُدبِرًا وَلَم يُعَقِّب ۚ يٰموسىٰ أَقبِل وَلا تَخَف ۖ إِنَّكَ مِنَ الءامِنينَ٣١
And [he was told], "Throw down your staff." But when he saw it writhing as if it was a snake, he turned in flight and did not return. [Allah said], "O Moses, approach and fear not. Indeed, you are of the secure
