يَهدى بِهِ اللَّهُ مَنِ اتَّبَعَ رِضوٰنَهُ سُبُلَ السَّلٰمِ وَيُخرِجُهُم مِنَ الظُّلُمٰتِ إِلَى النّورِ بِإِذنِهِ وَيَهديهِم إِلىٰ صِرٰطٍ مُستَقيمٍ١٦
By which Allah guides those who pursue His pleasure to the ways of peace and brings them out from darknesses into the light, by His permission, and guides them to a straight path
وَلَقَد جاءَت رُسُلُنا إِبرٰهيمَ بِالبُشرىٰ قالوا سَلٰمًا ۖ قالَ سَلٰمٌ ۖ فَما لَبِثَ أَن جاءَ بِعِجلٍ حَنيذٍ٦٩
And certainly did Our messengers come to Abraham with good tidings; they said, "Peace." He said, "Peace," and did not delay in bringing [them] a roasted calf
تَحِيَّتُهُم يَومَ يَلقَونَهُ سَلٰمٌ ۚ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُم أَجرًا كَريمًا٤٤
Their greeting the Day they meet Him will be, "Peace." And He has prepared for them a noble reward
سَلٰمٌ عَلىٰ نوحٍ فِى العٰلَمينَ٧٩
Peace upon Noah among the worlds
سَلٰمٌ عَلىٰ إِبرٰهيمَ١٠٩
Peace upon Abraham
سَلٰمٌ عَلىٰ موسىٰ وَهٰرونَ١٢٠
Peace upon Moses and Aaron
سَلٰمٌ عَلىٰ إِل ياسينَ١٣٠
Peace upon Elias
فَاصفَح عَنهُم وَقُل سَلٰمٌ ۚ فَسَوفَ يَعلَمونَ٨٩
So turn aside from them and say, "Peace." But they are going to know
فَسَلٰمٌ لَكَ مِن أَصحٰبِ اليَمينِ٩١
Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right
وَبَينَهُما حِجابٌ ۚ وَعَلَى الأَعرافِ رِجالٌ يَعرِفونَ كُلًّا بِسيمىٰهُم ۚ وَنادَوا أَصحٰبَ الجَنَّةِ أَن سَلٰمٌ عَلَيكُم ۚ لَم يَدخُلوها وَهُم يَطمَعونَ٤٦
And between them will be a partition, and on [its] elevations are men who recognize all by their mark. And they call out to the companions of Paradise, "Peace be upon you." They have not [yet] entered it, but they long intensely
