Quran quotes about inner peace (Sakina) — tranquility through remembrance of Allah.
وَالسَّلٰمُ عَلَىَّ يَومَ وُلِدتُ وَيَومَ أَموتُ وَيَومَ أُبعَثُ حَيًّا٣٣
And peace is on me the day I was born and the day I will die and the day I am raised alive
لا يَسمَعونَ فيها لَغوًا إِلّا سَلٰمًا ۖ وَلَهُم رِزقُهُم فيها بُكرَةً وَعَشِيًّا٦٢
They will not hear therein any ill speech - only [greetings of] peace - and they will have their provision therein, morning and afternoon
وَإِذا سَمِعُوا اللَّغوَ أَعرَضوا عَنهُ وَقالوا لَنا أَعمٰلُنا وَلَكُم أَعمٰلُكُم سَلٰمٌ عَلَيكُم لا نَبتَغِى الجٰهِلينَ٥٥
And when they hear ill speech, they turn away from it and say, "For us are our deeds, and for you are your deeds. Peace will be upon you; we seek not the ignorant
وَسَلٰمٌ عَلَى المُرسَلينَ١٨١
And peace upon the messengers
إِنَّ المُتَّقينَ فى مَقامٍ أَمينٍ٥١
Indeed, the righteous will be in a secure place
ادخُلوها بِسَلٰمٍ ۖ ذٰلِكَ يَومُ الخُلودِ٣٤
Enter it in peace. This is the Day of Eternity
إِذ دَخَلوا عَلَيهِ فَقالوا سَلٰمًا ۖ قالَ سَلٰمٌ قَومٌ مُنكَرونَ٢٥
When they entered upon him and said, "[We greet you with] peace." He answered, "[And upon you] peace, [you are] a people unknown
إِلّا قيلًا سَلٰمًا سَلٰمًا٢٦
Only a saying: "Peace, peace
سَلٰمٌ هِىَ حَتّىٰ مَطلَعِ الفَجرِ٥
Peace it is until the emergence of dawn
ثُمَّ أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ سَكينَتَهُ عَلىٰ رَسولِهِ وَعَلَى المُؤمِنينَ وَأَنزَلَ جُنودًا لَم تَرَوها وَعَذَّبَ الَّذينَ كَفَروا ۚ وَذٰلِكَ جَزاءُ الكٰفِرينَ٢٦
Then Allah sent down His tranquillity upon His Messenger and upon the believers and sent down soldiers angels whom you did not see and punished those who disbelieved. And that is the recompense of the disbelievers
