Jannah (Paradise) Quotes
Quran and Hadith about Paradise — what awaits the righteous, and the rewards of patience and faith.
أُولٰئِكَ أَصحٰبُ الجَنَّةِ خٰلِدينَ فيها جَزاءً بِما كانوا يَعمَلونَ١٤
Those are the companions of Paradise, abiding eternally therein as reward for what they used to do
قالَ اللَّهُ هٰذا يَومُ يَنفَعُ الصّٰدِقينَ صِدقُهُم ۚ لَهُم جَنّٰتٌ تَجرى مِن تَحتِهَا الأَنهٰرُ خٰلِدينَ فيها أَبَدًا ۚ رَضِىَ اللَّهُ عَنهُم وَرَضوا عَنهُ ۚ ذٰلِكَ الفَوزُ العَظيمُ١١٩
Allah will say, "This is the Day when the truthful will benefit from their truthfulness." For them are gardens [in Paradise] beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever, Allah being pleased with them, and they with Him. That is the great attainment
مَثَلُ الجَنَّةِ الَّتى وُعِدَ المُتَّقونَ ۖ فيها أَنهٰرٌ مِن ماءٍ غَيرِ ءاسِنٍ وَأَنهٰرٌ مِن لَبَنٍ لَم يَتَغَيَّر طَعمُهُ وَأَنهٰرٌ مِن خَمرٍ لَذَّةٍ لِلشّٰرِبينَ وَأَنهٰرٌ مِن عَسَلٍ مُصَفًّى ۖ وَلَهُم فيها مِن كُلِّ الثَّمَرٰتِ وَمَغفِرَةٌ مِن رَبِّهِم ۖ كَمَن هُوَ خٰلِدٌ فِى النّارِ وَسُقوا ماءً حَميمًا فَقَطَّعَ أَمعاءَهُم١٥
Is the description of Paradise, which the righteous are promised, wherein are rivers of water unaltered, rivers of milk the taste of which never changes, rivers of wine delicious to those who drink, and rivers of purified honey, in which they will have from all [kinds of] fruits and forgiveness from their Lord, like [that of] those who abide eternally in the Fire and are given to drink scalding water that will sever their intestines
جَنّٰتُ عَدنٍ يَدخُلونَها تَجرى مِن تَحتِهَا الأَنهٰرُ ۖ لَهُم فيها ما يَشاءونَ ۚ كَذٰلِكَ يَجزِى اللَّهُ المُتَّقينَ٣١
Gardens of perpetual residence, which they will enter, beneath which rivers flow. They will have therein whatever they wish. Thus does Allah reward the righteous
تَبارَكَ الَّذى إِن شاءَ جَعَلَ لَكَ خَيرًا مِن ذٰلِكَ جَنّٰتٍ تَجرى مِن تَحتِهَا الأَنهٰرُ وَيَجعَل لَكَ قُصورًا١٠
Blessed is He who, if He willed, could have made for you [something] better than that - gardens beneath which rivers flow - and could make for you palaces
إِنَّ المُتَّقينَ فى جَنّٰتٍ وَنَهَرٍ٥٤
Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and rivers
۞ قُل أَؤُنَبِّئُكُم بِخَيرٍ مِن ذٰلِكُم ۚ لِلَّذينَ اتَّقَوا عِندَ رَبِّهِم جَنّٰتٌ تَجرى مِن تَحتِهَا الأَنهٰرُ خٰلِدينَ فيها وَأَزوٰجٌ مُطَهَّرَةٌ وَرِضوٰنٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ بَصيرٌ بِالعِبادِ١٥
Say, "Shall I inform you of [something] better than that? For those who fear Allah will be gardens in the presence of their Lord beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally, and purified spouses and approval from Allah. And Allah is Seeing of [His] servants
لٰكِنِ الَّذينَ اتَّقَوا رَبَّهُم لَهُم جَنّٰتٌ تَجرى مِن تَحتِهَا الأَنهٰرُ خٰلِدينَ فيها نُزُلًا مِن عِندِ اللَّهِ ۗ وَما عِندَ اللَّهِ خَيرٌ لِلأَبرارِ١٩٨
But those who feared their Lord will have gardens beneath which rivers flow, abiding eternally therein, as accommodation from Allah. And that which is with Allah is best for the righteous
لِيُدخِلَ المُؤمِنينَ وَالمُؤمِنٰتِ جَنّٰتٍ تَجرى مِن تَحتِهَا الأَنهٰرُ خٰلِدينَ فيها وَيُكَفِّرَ عَنهُم سَيِّـٔاتِهِم ۚ وَكانَ ذٰلِكَ عِندَ اللَّهِ فَوزًا عَظيمًا٥
[And] that He may admit the believing men and the believing women to gardens beneath which rivers flow to abide therein eternally and remove from them their misdeeds - and ever is that, in the sight of Allah, a great attainment
يَومَ تَرَى المُؤمِنينَ وَالمُؤمِنٰتِ يَسعىٰ نورُهُم بَينَ أَيديهِم وَبِأَيمٰنِهِم بُشرىٰكُمُ اليَومَ جَنّٰتٌ تَجرى مِن تَحتِهَا الأَنهٰرُ خٰلِدينَ فيها ۚ ذٰلِكَ هُوَ الفَوزُ العَظيمُ١٢
On the Day you see the believing men and believing women, their light proceeding before them and on their right, [it will be said], "Your good tidings today are [of] gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein you will abide eternally." That is what is the great attainment
