Jannah (Paradise) Quotes
Quran and Hadith about Paradise — what awaits the righteous, and the rewards of patience and faith.
يَغفِر لَكُم ذُنوبَكُم وَيُدخِلكُم جَنّٰتٍ تَجرى مِن تَحتِهَا الأَنهٰرُ وَمَسٰكِنَ طَيِّبَةً فى جَنّٰتِ عَدنٍ ۚ ذٰلِكَ الفَوزُ العَظيمُ١٢
He will forgive for you your sins and admit you to gardens beneath which rivers flow and pleasant dwellings in gardens of perpetual residence. That is the great attainment
إِن تَجتَنِبوا كَبائِرَ ما تُنهَونَ عَنهُ نُكَفِّر عَنكُم سَيِّـٔاتِكُم وَنُدخِلكُم مُدخَلًا كَريمًا٣١
If you avoid the major sins which you are forbidden, We will remove from you your lesser sins and admit you to a noble entrance [into Paradise]
وَنَزَعنا ما فى صُدورِهِم مِن غِلٍّ تَجرى مِن تَحتِهِمُ الأَنهٰرُ ۖ وَقالُوا الحَمدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذى هَدىٰنا لِهٰذا وَما كُنّا لِنَهتَدِىَ لَولا أَن هَدىٰنَا اللَّهُ ۖ لَقَد جاءَت رُسُلُ رَبِّنا بِالحَقِّ ۖ وَنودوا أَن تِلكُمُ الجَنَّةُ أورِثتُموها بِما كُنتُم تَعمَلونَ٤٣
And We will have removed whatever is within their breasts of resentment, [while] flowing beneath them are rivers. And they will say, "Praise to Allah, who has guided us to this; and we would never have been guided if Allah had not guided us. Certainly the messengers of our Lord had come with the truth." And they will be called, "This is Paradise, which you have been made to inherit for what you used to do
۞ لِلَّذينَ أَحسَنُوا الحُسنىٰ وَزِيادَةٌ ۖ وَلا يَرهَقُ وُجوهَهُم قَتَرٌ وَلا ذِلَّةٌ ۚ أُولٰئِكَ أَصحٰبُ الجَنَّةِ ۖ هُم فيها خٰلِدونَ٢٦
For them who have done good is the best [reward] and extra. No darkness will cover their faces, nor humiliation. Those are companions of Paradise; they will abide therein eternally
۞ مَثَلُ الجَنَّةِ الَّتى وُعِدَ المُتَّقونَ ۖ تَجرى مِن تَحتِهَا الأَنهٰرُ ۖ أُكُلُها دائِمٌ وَظِلُّها ۚ تِلكَ عُقبَى الَّذينَ اتَّقَوا ۖ وَعُقبَى الكٰفِرينَ النّارُ٣٥
The example of Paradise, which the righteous have been promised, is [that] beneath it rivers flow. Its fruit is lasting, and its shade. That is the consequence for the righteous, and the consequence for the disbelievers is the Fire
الَّذينَ تَتَوَفّىٰهُمُ المَلٰئِكَةُ طَيِّبينَ ۙ يَقولونَ سَلٰمٌ عَلَيكُمُ ادخُلُوا الجَنَّةَ بِما كُنتُم تَعمَلونَ٣٢
The ones whom the angels take in death, [being] good and pure; [the angels] will say, "Peace be upon you. Enter Paradise for what you used to do
وَأَمّا مَن ءامَنَ وَعَمِلَ صٰلِحًا فَلَهُ جَزاءً الحُسنىٰ ۖ وَسَنَقولُ لَهُ مِن أَمرِنا يُسرًا٨٨
But as for one who believes and does righteousness, he will have a reward of Paradise, and we will speak to him from our command with ease
تِلكَ الجَنَّةُ الَّتى نورِثُ مِن عِبادِنا مَن كانَ تَقِيًّا٦٣
That is Paradise, which We give as inheritance to those of Our servants who were fearing of Allah
وَلَقَد كَتَبنا فِى الزَّبورِ مِن بَعدِ الذِّكرِ أَنَّ الأَرضَ يَرِثُها عِبادِىَ الصّٰلِحونَ١٠٥
And We have already written in the book [of Psalms] after the [previous] mention that the land [of Paradise] is inherited by My righteous servants
أَصحٰبُ الجَنَّةِ يَومَئِذٍ خَيرٌ مُستَقَرًّا وَأَحسَنُ مَقيلًا٢٤
The companions of Paradise, that Day, are [in] a better settlement and better resting place
