Jannah (Paradise) Quotes
Quran and Hadith about Paradise — what awaits the righteous, and the rewards of patience and faith.
رَسولًا يَتلوا عَلَيكُم ءايٰتِ اللَّهِ مُبَيِّنٰتٍ لِيُخرِجَ الَّذينَ ءامَنوا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ مِنَ الظُّلُمٰتِ إِلَى النّورِ ۚ وَمَن يُؤمِن بِاللَّهِ وَيَعمَل صٰلِحًا يُدخِلهُ جَنّٰتٍ تَجرى مِن تَحتِهَا الأَنهٰرُ خٰلِدينَ فيها أَبَدًا ۖ قَد أَحسَنَ اللَّهُ لَهُ رِزقًا١١
[He sent] a Messenger [Muhammad] reciting to you the distinct verses of Allah that He may bring out those who believe and do righteous deeds from darknesses into the light. And whoever believes in Allah and does righteousness - He will admit him into gardens beneath which rivers flow to abide therein forever. Allah will have perfected for him a provision
إِنَّ الَّذينَ ءامَنوا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ لَهُم جَنّٰتٌ تَجرى مِن تَحتِهَا الأَنهٰرُ ۚ ذٰلِكَ الفَوزُ الكَبيرُ١١
Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds will have gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great attainment
وَالَّذينَ ءامَنوا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ سَنُدخِلُهُم جَنّٰتٍ تَجرى مِن تَحتِهَا الأَنهٰرُ خٰلِدينَ فيها أَبَدًا ۖ لَهُم فيها أَزوٰجٌ مُطَهَّرَةٌ ۖ وَنُدخِلُهُم ظِلًّا ظَليلًا٥٧
But those who believe and do righteous deeds - We will admit them to gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide forever. For them therein are purified spouses, and We will admit them to deepening shade
وَالَّذينَ ءامَنوا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ سَنُدخِلُهُم جَنّٰتٍ تَجرى مِن تَحتِهَا الأَنهٰرُ خٰلِدينَ فيها أَبَدًا ۖ وَعدَ اللَّهِ حَقًّا ۚ وَمَن أَصدَقُ مِنَ اللَّهِ قيلًا١٢٢
But the ones who believe and do righteous deeds - We will admit them to gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever. [It is] the promise of Allah, [which is] truth, and who is more truthful than Allah in statement
وَمَن يَعمَل مِنَ الصّٰلِحٰتِ مِن ذَكَرٍ أَو أُنثىٰ وَهُوَ مُؤمِنٌ فَأُولٰئِكَ يَدخُلونَ الجَنَّةَ وَلا يُظلَمونَ نَقيرًا١٢٤
And whoever does righteous deeds, whether male or female, while being a believer - those will enter Paradise and will not be wronged, [even as much as] the speck on a date seed
فَأَثٰبَهُمُ اللَّهُ بِما قالوا جَنّٰتٍ تَجرى مِن تَحتِهَا الأَنهٰرُ خٰلِدينَ فيها ۚ وَذٰلِكَ جَزاءُ المُحسِنينَ٨٥
So Allah rewarded them for what they said with gardens [in Paradise] beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally. And that is the reward of doers of good
أَعَدَّ اللَّهُ لَهُم جَنّٰتٍ تَجرى مِن تَحتِهَا الأَنهٰرُ خٰلِدينَ فيها ۚ ذٰلِكَ الفَوزُ العَظيمُ٨٩
Allah has prepared for them gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide eternally. That is the great attainment
جَنّٰتُ عَدنٍ تَجرى مِن تَحتِهَا الأَنهٰرُ خٰلِدينَ فيها ۚ وَذٰلِكَ جَزاءُ مَن تَزَكّىٰ٧٦
Gardens of perpetual residence beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally. And that is the reward of one who purifies himself
تِلكَ حُدودُ اللَّهِ ۚ وَمَن يُطِعِ اللَّهَ وَرَسولَهُ يُدخِلهُ جَنّٰتٍ تَجرى مِن تَحتِهَا الأَنهٰرُ خٰلِدينَ فيها ۚ وَذٰلِكَ الفَوزُ العَظيمُ١٣
These are the limits [set by] Allah, and whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger will be admitted by Him to gardens [in Paradise] under which rivers flow, abiding eternally therein; and that is the great attainment
وَيٰـٔادَمُ اسكُن أَنتَ وَزَوجُكَ الجَنَّةَ فَكُلا مِن حَيثُ شِئتُما وَلا تَقرَبا هٰذِهِ الشَّجَرَةَ فَتَكونا مِنَ الظّٰلِمينَ١٩
And "O Adam, dwell, you and your wife, in Paradise and eat from wherever you will but do not approach this tree, lest you be among the wrongdoers
