Tawakkul (Trust in Allah) Quotes
Quran and Hadith about relying on Allah completely while taking action — trust in the best disposer of affairs.
إِنَّهُ لَيسَ لَهُ سُلطٰنٌ عَلَى الَّذينَ ءامَنوا وَعَلىٰ رَبِّهِم يَتَوَكَّلونَ٩٩
Indeed, there is for him no authority over those who have believed and rely upon their Lord
وَما لَنا أَلّا نَتَوَكَّلَ عَلَى اللَّهِ وَقَد هَدىٰنا سُبُلَنا ۚ وَلَنَصبِرَنَّ عَلىٰ ما ءاذَيتُمونا ۚ وَعَلَى اللَّهِ فَليَتَوَكَّلِ المُتَوَكِّلونَ١٢
And why should we not rely upon Allah while He has guided us to our [good] ways. And we will surely be patient against whatever harm you should cause us. And upon Allah let those who would rely [indeed] rely
إِذ تَقولُ لِلمُؤمِنينَ أَلَن يَكفِيَكُم أَن يُمِدَّكُم رَبُّكُم بِثَلٰثَةِ ءالٰفٍ مِنَ المَلٰئِكَةِ مُنزَلينَ١٢٤
[Remember] when you said to the believers, "Is it not sufficient for you that your Lord should reinforce you with three thousand angels sent down
وَتَوَكَّل عَلَى الحَىِّ الَّذى لا يَموتُ وَسَبِّح بِحَمدِهِ ۚ وَكَفىٰ بِهِ بِذُنوبِ عِبادِهِ خَبيرًا٥٨
And rely upon the Ever-Living who does not die, and exalt [Allah] with His praise. And sufficient is He to be, with the sins of His servants, Acquainted
وَتَوَكَّل عَلَى اللَّهِ ۚ وَكَفىٰ بِاللَّهِ وَكيلًا٣
And rely upon Allah; and sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs
وَلا تُطِعِ الكٰفِرينَ وَالمُنٰفِقينَ وَدَع أَذىٰهُم وَتَوَكَّل عَلَى اللَّهِ ۚ وَكَفىٰ بِاللَّهِ وَكيلًا٤٨
And do not obey the disbelievers and the hypocrites but do not harm them, and rely upon Allah. And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs
وَاللَّهُ أَعلَمُ بِأَعدائِكُم ۚ وَكَفىٰ بِاللَّهِ وَلِيًّا وَكَفىٰ بِاللَّهِ نَصيرًا٤٥
And Allah is most knowing of your enemies; and sufficient is Allah as an ally, and sufficient is Allah as a helper
وَلِلَّهِ ما فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَما فِى الأَرضِ ۚ وَكَفىٰ بِاللَّهِ وَكيلًا١٣٢
And to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs
وَقالَ موسىٰ يٰقَومِ إِن كُنتُم ءامَنتُم بِاللَّهِ فَعَلَيهِ تَوَكَّلوا إِن كُنتُم مُسلِمينَ٨٤
And Moses said, "O my people, if you have believed in Allah, then rely upon Him, if you should be Muslims
إِنَّ عِبادى لَيسَ لَكَ عَلَيهِم سُلطٰنٌ ۚ وَكَفىٰ بِرَبِّكَ وَكيلًا٦٥
Indeed, over My [believing] servants there is for you no authority. And sufficient is your Lord as Disposer of affairs
