Tawakkul (Trust in Allah) Quotes
Quran and Hadith about relying on Allah completely while taking action — trust in the best disposer of affairs.
فَلَا تَهِنُوا وَتَدْعُوا إِلَى السَّلْمِ وَأَنتُمُ الْأَعْلَوْنَ وَاللَّهُ مَعَكُمْ وَلَن يَتِرَكُمْ أَعْمَالَكُمْ٣٥
So do not weaken and call for peace while you are superior. And Allah is with you and will never deprive you of the rewards of your deeds.
وَفِي السَّمَاءِ رِزْقُكُمْ وَمَا تُوعَدُونَ٢٢
And in the heaven is your provision and whatever you are promised.
مَا أَصَابَ مِن مُّصِيبَةٍ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ ۚ وَمَن يُؤْمِن بِاللَّهِ يَهْدِ قَلْبَهُ ۚ وَاللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ١١
No disaster strikes except by permission of Allah. And whoever believes in Allah, He will guide his heart. And Allah is Knowing of all things.
مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلَىٰ٣
Your Lord has not taken leave of you, nor has He detested you.
فَإِذَا فَرَغْتَ فَانصَبْ وَإِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَارْغَبْ٧
And when you have finished your task, then stand up; and to your Lord direct your longing.
فَإِن تَوَلَّوا فَقُل حَسبِىَ اللَّهُ لا إِلٰهَ إِلّا هُوَ ۖ عَلَيهِ تَوَكَّلتُ ۖ وَهُوَ رَبُّ العَرشِ العَظيمِ١٢٩
But if they turn away, [O Muhammad], say, "Sufficient for me is Allah; there is no deity except Him. On Him I have relied, and He is the Lord of the Great Throne
وَإِن يُريدوا أَن يَخدَعوكَ فَإِنَّ حَسبَكَ اللَّهُ ۚ هُوَ الَّذى أَيَّدَكَ بِنَصرِهِ وَبِالمُؤمِنينَ٦٢
But if they intend to deceive you - then sufficient for you is Allah. It is He who supported you with His help and with the believers
يٰأَيُّهَا النَّبِىُّ حَسبُكَ اللَّهُ وَمَنِ اتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ المُؤمِنينَ٦٤
O Prophet, sufficient for you is Allah and for whoever follows you of the believers
۞ وَإِن جَنَحوا لِلسَّلمِ فَاجنَح لَها وَتَوَكَّل عَلَى اللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّهُ هُوَ السَّميعُ العَليمُ٦١
And if they incline to peace, then incline to it [also] and rely upon Allah. Indeed, it is He who is the Hearing, the Knowing
وَتَوَكَّل عَلَى العَزيزِ الرَّحيمِ٢١٧
And rely upon the Exalted in Might, the Merciful
