وَلَقَد أَتَوا عَلَى القَريَةِ الَّتى أُمطِرَت مَطَرَ السَّوءِ ۚ أَفَلَم يَكونوا يَرَونَها ۚ بَل كانوا لا يَرجونَ نُشورًا٤٠
And they have already come upon the town which was showered with a rain of evil. So have they not seen it? But they are not expecting resurrection
ما خَلقُكُم وَلا بَعثُكُم إِلّا كَنَفسٍ وٰحِدَةٍ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَميعٌ بَصيرٌ٢٨
Your creation and your resurrection will not be but as that of a single soul. Indeed, Allah is Hearing and Seeing
وَوُفِّيَت كُلُّ نَفسٍ ما عَمِلَت وَهُوَ أَعلَمُ بِما يَفعَلونَ٧٠
And every soul will be fully compensated [for] what it did; and He is most knowing of what they do
اليَومَ تُجزىٰ كُلُّ نَفسٍ بِما كَسَبَت ۚ لا ظُلمَ اليَومَ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَريعُ الحِسابِ١٧
This Day every soul will be recompensed for what it earned. No injustice today! Indeed, Allah is swift in account
وَخَلَقَ اللَّهُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالأَرضَ بِالحَقِّ وَلِتُجزىٰ كُلُّ نَفسٍ بِما كَسَبَت وَهُم لا يُظلَمونَ٢٢
And Allah created the heavens and earth in truth and so that every soul may be recompensed for what it has earned, and they will not be wronged
وَجاءَت كُلُّ نَفسٍ مَعَها سائِقٌ وَشَهيدٌ٢١
And every soul will come, with it a driver and a witness
لَن تَنفَعَكُم أَرحامُكُم وَلا أَولٰدُكُم ۚ يَومَ القِيٰمَةِ يَفصِلُ بَينَكُم ۚ وَاللَّهُ بِما تَعمَلونَ بَصيرٌ٣
Never will your relatives or your children benefit you; the Day of Resurrection He will judge between you. And Allah, of what you do, is Seeing
فَيَومَئِذٍ وَقَعَتِ الواقِعَةُ١٥
Then on that Day, the Resurrection will occur
بِسمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحمٰنِ الرَّحيمِ لا أُقسِمُ بِيَومِ القِيٰمَةِ١
I swear by the Day of Resurrection
وَلا أُقسِمُ بِالنَّفسِ اللَّوّامَةِ٢
And I swear by the reproaching soul [to the certainty of resurrection]
