وَأَنفِقوا فى سَبيلِ اللَّهِ وَلا تُلقوا بِأَيديكُم إِلَى التَّهلُكَةِ ۛ وَأَحسِنوا ۛ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ المُحسِنينَ١٩٥
And spend in the way of Allah and do not throw [yourselves] with your [own] hands into destruction [by refraining]. And do good; indeed, Allah loves the doers of good
وَمِنَ النّاسِ مَن يَتَّخِذُ مِن دونِ اللَّهِ أَندادًا يُحِبّونَهُم كَحُبِّ اللَّهِ ۖ وَالَّذينَ ءامَنوا أَشَدُّ حُبًّا لِلَّهِ ۗ وَلَو يَرَى الَّذينَ ظَلَموا إِذ يَرَونَ العَذابَ أَنَّ القُوَّةَ لِلَّهِ جَميعًا وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ شَديدُ العَذابِ١٦٥
And [yet], among the people are those who take other than Allah as equals [to Him]. They love them as they [should] love Allah. But those who believe are stronger in love for Allah. And if only they who have wronged would consider [that] when they see the punishment, [they will be certain] that all power belongs to Allah and that Allah is severe in punishment
بَلىٰ مَن أَوفىٰ بِعَهدِهِ وَاتَّقىٰ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ المُتَّقينَ٧٦
But yes, whoever fulfills his commitment and fears Allah - then indeed, Allah loves those who fear Him
لَن تَنالُوا البِرَّ حَتّىٰ تُنفِقوا مِمّا تُحِبّونَ ۚ وَما تُنفِقوا مِن شَيءٍ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ بِهِ عَليمٌ٩٢
Never will you attain the good [reward] until you spend [in the way of Allah] from that which you love. And whatever you spend - indeed, Allah is Knowing of it
وَلا تُجٰدِل عَنِ الَّذينَ يَختانونَ أَنفُسَهُم ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لا يُحِبُّ مَن كانَ خَوّانًا أَثيمًا١٠٧
And do not argue on behalf of those who deceive themselves. Indeed, Allah loves not one who is a habitually sinful deceiver
قُل إِن كانَ ءاباؤُكُم وَأَبناؤُكُم وَإِخوٰنُكُم وَأَزوٰجُكُم وَعَشيرَتُكُم وَأَموٰلٌ اقتَرَفتُموها وَتِجٰرَةٌ تَخشَونَ كَسادَها وَمَسٰكِنُ تَرضَونَها أَحَبَّ إِلَيكُم مِنَ اللَّهِ وَرَسولِهِ وَجِهادٍ فى سَبيلِهِ فَتَرَبَّصوا حَتّىٰ يَأتِىَ اللَّهُ بِأَمرِهِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ لا يَهدِى القَومَ الفٰسِقينَ٢٤
Say, [O Muhammad], "If your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your wives, your relatives, wealth which you have obtained, commerce wherein you fear decline, and dwellings with which you are pleased are more beloved to you than Allah and His Messenger and jihad in His cause, then wait until Allah executes His command. And Allah does not guide the defiantly disobedient people
لا تَقُم فيهِ أَبَدًا ۚ لَمَسجِدٌ أُسِّسَ عَلَى التَّقوىٰ مِن أَوَّلِ يَومٍ أَحَقُّ أَن تَقومَ فيهِ ۚ فيهِ رِجالٌ يُحِبّونَ أَن يَتَطَهَّروا ۚ وَاللَّهُ يُحِبُّ المُطَّهِّرينَ١٠٨
Do not stand [for prayer] within it - ever. A mosque founded on righteousness from the first day is more worthy for you to stand in. Within it are men who love to purify themselves; and Allah loves those who purify themselves
سَمّٰعونَ لِلكَذِبِ أَكّٰلونَ لِلسُّحتِ ۚ فَإِن جاءوكَ فَاحكُم بَينَهُم أَو أَعرِض عَنهُم ۖ وَإِن تُعرِض عَنهُم فَلَن يَضُرّوكَ شَيـًٔا ۖ وَإِن حَكَمتَ فَاحكُم بَينَهُم بِالقِسطِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ المُقسِطينَ٤٢
[They are] avid listeners to falsehood, devourers of [what is] unlawful. So if they come to you, [O Muhammad], judge between them or turn away from them. And if you turn away from them - never will they harm you at all. And if you judge, judge between them with justice. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly
۞ لَتَجِدَنَّ أَشَدَّ النّاسِ عَدٰوَةً لِلَّذينَ ءامَنُوا اليَهودَ وَالَّذينَ أَشرَكوا ۖ وَلَتَجِدَنَّ أَقرَبَهُم مَوَدَّةً لِلَّذينَ ءامَنُوا الَّذينَ قالوا إِنّا نَصٰرىٰ ۚ ذٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ مِنهُم قِسّيسينَ وَرُهبانًا وَأَنَّهُم لا يَستَكبِرونَ٨٢
You will surely find the most intense of the people in animosity toward the believers [to be] the Jews and those who associate others with Allah; and you will find the nearest of them in affection to the believers those who say, "We are Christians." That is because among them are priests and monks and because they are not arrogant
وَإِن طائِفَتانِ مِنَ المُؤمِنينَ اقتَتَلوا فَأَصلِحوا بَينَهُما ۖ فَإِن بَغَت إِحدىٰهُما عَلَى الأُخرىٰ فَقٰتِلُوا الَّتى تَبغى حَتّىٰ تَفيءَ إِلىٰ أَمرِ اللَّهِ ۚ فَإِن فاءَت فَأَصلِحوا بَينَهُما بِالعَدلِ وَأَقسِطوا ۖ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ المُقسِطينَ٩
And if two factions among the believers should fight, then make settlement between the two. But if one of them oppresses the other, then fight against the one that oppresses until it returns to the ordinance of Allah. And if it returns, then make settlement between them in justice and act justly. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly
