وَٱلَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا هَبۡ لَنَا مِنۡ أَزۡوَٰجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّٰتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعۡيُنࣲ وَٱجۡعَلۡنَا لِلۡمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا٧٤
Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us leaders [i.e., examples] for the righteous.
إِنَّ الَّذينَ ءامَنوا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ سَيَجعَلُ لَهُمُ الرَّحمٰنُ وُدًّا٩٦
Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds - the Most Merciful will appoint for them affection
۞ عَسَى اللَّهُ أَن يَجعَلَ بَينَكُم وَبَينَ الَّذينَ عادَيتُم مِنهُم مَوَدَّةً ۚ وَاللَّهُ قَديرٌ ۚ وَاللَّهُ غَفورٌ رَحيمٌ٧
Perhaps Allah will put, between you and those to whom you have been enemies among them, affection. And Allah is competent, and Allah is Forgiving and Merciful
وَهُوَ الغَفورُ الوَدودُ١٤
And He is the Forgiving, the Affectionate
لا تَجِدُ قَومًا يُؤمِنونَ بِاللَّهِ وَاليَومِ الءاخِرِ يُوادّونَ مَن حادَّ اللَّهَ وَرَسولَهُ وَلَو كانوا ءاباءَهُم أَو أَبناءَهُم أَو إِخوٰنَهُم أَو عَشيرَتَهُم ۚ أُولٰئِكَ كَتَبَ فى قُلوبِهِمُ الإيمٰنَ وَأَيَّدَهُم بِروحٍ مِنهُ ۖ وَيُدخِلُهُم جَنّٰتٍ تَجرى مِن تَحتِهَا الأَنهٰرُ خٰلِدينَ فيها ۚ رَضِىَ اللَّهُ عَنهُم وَرَضوا عَنهُ ۚ أُولٰئِكَ حِزبُ اللَّهِ ۚ أَلا إِنَّ حِزبَ اللَّهِ هُمُ المُفلِحونَ٢٢
You will not find a people who believe in Allah and the Last Day having affection for those who oppose Allah and His Messenger, even if they were their fathers or their sons or their brothers or their kindred. Those - He has decreed within their hearts faith and supported them with spirit from Him. And We will admit them to gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally. Allah is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him - those are the party of Allah. Unquestionably, the party of Allah - they are the successful
وَالَّذينَ تَبَوَّءُو الدّارَ وَالإيمٰنَ مِن قَبلِهِم يُحِبّونَ مَن هاجَرَ إِلَيهِم وَلا يَجِدونَ فى صُدورِهِم حاجَةً مِمّا أوتوا وَيُؤثِرونَ عَلىٰ أَنفُسِهِم وَلَو كانَ بِهِم خَصاصَةٌ ۚ وَمَن يوقَ شُحَّ نَفسِهِ فَأُولٰئِكَ هُمُ المُفلِحونَ٩
And [also for] those who were settled in al-Madinah and [adopted] the faith before them. They love those who emigrated to them and find not any want in their breasts of what the emigrants were given but give [them] preference over themselves, even though they are in privation. And whoever is protected from the stinginess of his soul - it is those who will be the successful
زُيِّنَ لِلنّاسِ حُبُّ الشَّهَوٰتِ مِنَ النِّساءِ وَالبَنينَ وَالقَنٰطيرِ المُقَنطَرَةِ مِنَ الذَّهَبِ وَالفِضَّةِ وَالخَيلِ المُسَوَّمَةِ وَالأَنعٰمِ وَالحَرثِ ۗ ذٰلِكَ مَتٰعُ الحَيوٰةِ الدُّنيا ۖ وَاللَّهُ عِندَهُ حُسنُ المَـٔابِ١٤
Beautified for people is the love of that which they desire - of women and sons, heaped-up sums of gold and silver, fine branded horses, and cattle and tilled land. That is the enjoyment of worldly life, but Allah has with Him the best return
فَـٔاتىٰهُمُ اللَّهُ ثَوابَ الدُّنيا وَحُسنَ ثَوابِ الءاخِرَةِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ يُحِبُّ المُحسِنينَ١٤٨
So Allah gave them the reward of this world and the good reward of the Hereafter. And Allah loves the doers of good
يٰأَيُّهَا الَّذينَ ءامَنوا مَن يَرتَدَّ مِنكُم عَن دينِهِ فَسَوفَ يَأتِى اللَّهُ بِقَومٍ يُحِبُّهُم وَيُحِبّونَهُ أَذِلَّةٍ عَلَى المُؤمِنينَ أَعِزَّةٍ عَلَى الكٰفِرينَ يُجٰهِدونَ فى سَبيلِ اللَّهِ وَلا يَخافونَ لَومَةَ لائِمٍ ۚ ذٰلِكَ فَضلُ اللَّهِ يُؤتيهِ مَن يَشاءُ ۚ وَاللَّهُ وٰسِعٌ عَليمٌ٥٤
O you who have believed, whoever of you should revert from his religion - Allah will bring forth [in place of them] a people He will love and who will love Him [who are] humble toward the believers, powerful against the disbelievers; they strive in the cause of Allah and do not fear the blame of a critic. That is the favor of Allah; He bestows it upon whom He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing
الَّذينَ يُنفِقونَ فِى السَّرّاءِ وَالضَّرّاءِ وَالكٰظِمينَ الغَيظَ وَالعافينَ عَنِ النّاسِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ يُحِبُّ المُحسِنينَ١٣٤
Who spend [in the cause of Allah] during ease and hardship and who restrain anger and who pardon the people - and Allah loves the doers of good
