الَّذِي خَلَقَ الْمَوْتَ وَالْحَيَاةَ لِيَبْلُوَكُمْ أَيُّكُمْ أَحْسَنُ عَمَلًا ۚ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْغَفُورُ٢
He who created death and life to test you as to which of you is best in deed. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Forgiving.
إِنَّا خَلَقْنَا الْإِنسَانَ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ أَمْشَاجٍ نَّبْتَلِيهِ فَجَعَلْنَاهُ سَمِيعًا بَصِيرًا٢
Indeed, We created man from a drop of mixed fluid to test him, and We made him hearing and seeing.
أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ الْأَرْضَ مِهَادًا٦
Have We not made the earth a resting place?
وَجَعَلْنَا النَّهَارَ مَعَاشًا١١
And We made the day for livelihood.
وَلَلْآخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لَّكَ مِنَ الْأُولَىٰ٤
And the hereafter is better for you than the first life.
لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنسَانَ فِي أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍ٤
We have certainly created man in the best of forms.
إِنَّ الْإِنسَانَ لَفِي خُسْرٍ٢
Truly, all of mankind is engaged in a state of loss.
وَكَأَيِّن مِن دابَّةٍ لا تَحمِلُ رِزقَهَا اللَّهُ يَرزُقُها وَإِيّاكُم ۚ وَهُوَ السَّميعُ العَليمُ٦٠
And how many a creature carries not its [own] provision. Allah provides for it and for you. And He is the Hearing, the Knowing
أَوَلَم يَرَوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ يَبسُطُ الرِّزقَ لِمَن يَشاءُ وَيَقدِرُ ۚ إِنَّ فى ذٰلِكَ لَءايٰتٍ لِقَومٍ يُؤمِنونَ٣٧
Do they not see that Allah extends provision for whom He wills and restricts [it]? Indeed, in that are signs for a people who believe
وَمَن أَرادَ الءاخِرَةَ وَسَعىٰ لَها سَعيَها وَهُوَ مُؤمِنٌ فَأُولٰئِكَ كانَ سَعيُهُم مَشكورًا١٩
But whoever desires the Hereafter and exerts the effort due to it while he is a believer - it is those whose effort is ever appreciated [by Allah]
