Surah Ar-Rum · 7
يَعلَمونَ ظٰهِرًا مِنَ الحَيوٰةِ الدُّنيا وَهُم عَنِ الءاخِرَةِ هُم غٰفِلونَ
They know what is apparent of the worldly life, but they, of the Hereafter, are unaware

وَزُخرُفًا ۚ وَإِن كُلُّ ذٰلِكَ لَمّا مَتٰعُ الحَيوٰةِ الدُّنيا ۚ وَالءاخِرَةُ عِندَ رَبِّكَ لِلمُتَّقينَ
And gold ornament. But all that is not but the enjoyment of worldly life. And the Hereafter with your Lord is for the righteous
Surah At-Tawbah · 38
يٰأَيُّهَا الَّذينَ ءامَنوا ما لَكُم إِذا قيلَ لَكُمُ انفِروا فى سَبيلِ اللَّهِ اثّاقَلتُم إِلَى الأَرضِ ۚ أَرَضيتُم بِالحَيوٰةِ الدُّنيا مِنَ الءاخِرَةِ ۚ فَما مَتٰعُ الحَيوٰةِ الدُّنيا فِى الءاخِرَةِ إِلّا قَليلٌ
O you who have believed, what is [the matter] with you that, when you are told to go forth in the cause of Allah, you adhere heavily to the earth? Are you satisfied with the life of this world rather than the Hereafter? But what is the enjoyment of worldly life compared to the Hereafter except a [very] little
Surah Ar-Ra'd · 26
اللَّهُ يَبسُطُ الرِّزقَ لِمَن يَشاءُ وَيَقدِرُ ۚ وَفَرِحوا بِالحَيوٰةِ الدُّنيا وَمَا الحَيوٰةُ الدُّنيا فِى الءاخِرَةِ إِلّا مَتٰعٌ
Allah extends provision for whom He wills and restricts [it]. And they rejoice in the worldly life, while the worldly life is not, compared to the Hereafter, except [brief] enjoyment
Surah Al-Hadid · 20
اعلَموا أَنَّمَا الحَيوٰةُ الدُّنيا لَعِبٌ وَلَهوٌ وَزينَةٌ وَتَفاخُرٌ بَينَكُم وَتَكاثُرٌ فِى الأَموٰلِ وَالأَولٰدِ ۖ كَمَثَلِ غَيثٍ أَعجَبَ الكُفّارَ نَباتُهُ ثُمَّ يَهيجُ فَتَرىٰهُ مُصفَرًّا ثُمَّ يَكونُ حُطٰمًا ۖ وَفِى الءاخِرَةِ عَذابٌ شَديدٌ وَمَغفِرَةٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَرِضوٰنٌ ۚ وَمَا الحَيوٰةُ الدُّنيا إِلّا مَتٰعُ الغُرورِ
Know that the life of this world is but amusement and diversion and adornment and boasting to one another and competition in increase of wealth and children - like the example of a rain whose [resulting] plant growth pleases the tillers; then it dries and you see it turned yellow; then it becomes [scattered] debris. And in the Hereafter is severe punishment and forgiveness from Allah and approval. And what is the worldly life except the enjoyment of delusion
Surah Al-Baqarah · 212
زُيِّنَ لِلَّذينَ كَفَرُوا الحَيوٰةُ الدُّنيا وَيَسخَرونَ مِنَ الَّذينَ ءامَنوا ۘ وَالَّذينَ اتَّقَوا فَوقَهُم يَومَ القِيٰمَةِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ يَرزُقُ مَن يَشاءُ بِغَيرِ حِسابٍ
Beautified for those who disbelieve is the life of this world, and they ridicule those who believe. But those who fear Allah are above them on the Day of Resurrection. And Allah gives provision to whom He wills without account
Surah An-Nahl · 30
۞ وَقيلَ لِلَّذينَ اتَّقَوا ماذا أَنزَلَ رَبُّكُم ۚ قالوا خَيرًا ۗ لِلَّذينَ أَحسَنوا فى هٰذِهِ الدُّنيا حَسَنَةٌ ۚ وَلَدارُ الءاخِرَةِ خَيرٌ ۚ وَلَنِعمَ دارُ المُتَّقينَ
And it will be said to those who feared Allah, "What did your Lord send down?" They will say, "[That which is] good." For those who do good in this world is good; and the home of the Hereafter is better. And how excellent is the home of the righteous
Surah An-Nahl · 41
وَالَّذينَ هاجَروا فِى اللَّهِ مِن بَعدِ ما ظُلِموا لَنُبَوِّئَنَّهُم فِى الدُّنيا حَسَنَةً ۖ وَلَأَجرُ الءاخِرَةِ أَكبَرُ ۚ لَو كانوا يَعلَمونَ
And those who emigrated for [the cause of] Allah after they had been wronged - We will surely settle them in this world in a good place; but the reward of the Hereafter is greater, if only they could know
Surah Ta-Ha · 131
وَلا تَمُدَّنَّ عَينَيكَ إِلىٰ ما مَتَّعنا بِهِ أَزوٰجًا مِنهُم زَهرَةَ الحَيوٰةِ الدُّنيا لِنَفتِنَهُم فيهِ ۚ وَرِزقُ رَبِّكَ خَيرٌ وَأَبقىٰ
And do not extend your eyes toward that by which We have given enjoyment to [some] categories of them, [its being but] the splendor of worldly life by which We test them. And the provision of your Lord is better and more enduring
Surah Ash-Shura · 20
مَن كانَ يُريدُ حَرثَ الءاخِرَةِ نَزِد لَهُ فى حَرثِهِ ۖ وَمَن كانَ يُريدُ حَرثَ الدُّنيا نُؤتِهِ مِنها وَما لَهُ فِى الءاخِرَةِ مِن نَصيبٍ
Whoever desires the harvest of the Hereafter - We increase for him in his harvest. And whoever desires the harvest of this world - We give him thereof, but there is not for him in the Hereafter any share
