وَقُلِ الْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكُمْ فَمَن شَاء فَلْيُؤْمِن وَمَن شَاء فَلْيَكْفُرْ٢٩
And say: The truth is from your Lord, so whoever wills — let him believe, and whoever wills — let him disbelieve.
رَبُّنَا رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ لَن نَّدْعُوَ مِن دُونِهِ إِلَهًا١٤
Our Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth; we will never call upon any god besides Him.
قَالَ رَبِّ ٱشۡرَحۡ لِي صَدۡرِي٢٥
My Lord, expand for me my breast, and ease for me my task, and untie the knot from my tongue, that they may understand my speech.
وَجَٰهِدُواْ فِي ٱللَّهِ حَقَّ جِهَادِهِۦۚ هُوَ ٱجۡتَبَىٰكُمۡ وَمَا جَعَلَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ فِي ٱلدِّينِ مِنۡ حَرَجࣲۚ مِّلَّةَ أَبِيكُمۡ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَۚ هُوَ سَمَّىٰكُمُ ٱلۡمُسۡلِمِينَ مِن قَبۡلُ وَفِي هَٰذَا لِيَكُونَ ٱلرَّسُولُ شَهِيدًا عَلَيۡكُمۡ وَتَكُونُواْ شُهَدَآءَ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِۚ فَأَقِيمُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتُواْ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَٱعۡتَصِمُواْ بِٱللَّهِ هُوَ مَوۡلَىٰكُمۡۖ فَنِعۡمَ ٱلۡمَوۡلَىٰ وَنِعۡمَ ٱلنَّصِيرُ٧٨
And strive for Allah with the striving due to Him. He has chosen you and has not placed upon you in the religion any difficulty.
وَلَقَدْ فَتَنَّا الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ ۖ فَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ صَدَقُوا٣
And We have certainly tested those before them, and Allah will surely make evident those who are truthful and will surely make evident the liars.
وَمَن جَاهَدَ فَإِنَّمَا يُجَاهِدُ لِنَفْسِهِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَغَنِيٌّ عَنِ الْعَالَمِينَ٦
And whoever strives, only struggles for himself. Indeed, Allah is free from need of the worlds.
وَالَّذِينَ جَاهَدُوا فِينَا لَنَهْدِيَنَّهُمْ سُبُلَنَا ۚ وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَمَعَ الْمُحْسِنِينَ٦٩
And those who strive for Us—We will surely guide them to Our ways. And indeed, Allah is with the doers of good.
اللَّهُ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُم مِّن ضَعْفٍ ثُمَّ جَعَلَ مِن بَعْدِ ضَعْفٍ قُوَّةً٥٤
Allah is the One who created you in weakness, then made after weakness strength, then made after strength weakness and old age. He creates what He wills, and He is the Knowing, the Competent.
وَمَن يُسْلِمْ وَجْهَهُ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَهُوَ مُحْسِنٌ فَقَدِ اسْتَمْسَكَ بِالْعُرْوَةِ الْوُثْقَىٰ٢٢
And whoever submits his face to Allah while he is a doer of good has grasped the most trustworthy handhold. And to Allah end the outcome of all matters.
إِنَّمَا أَمْرُهُ إِذَا أَرَادَ شَيْئًا أَن يَقُولَ لَهُ كُن فَيَكُونُ٨٢
Indeed, when He intends a thing, His command is only to say to it, 'Be,' and it is.
