الصَّبُورُ٢٠٠
The Patient — He gives all time to His servants to mend
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اسْتَعِينُوا بِالصَّبْرِ وَالصَّلَاةِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ١٥٣
O you who have believed, seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient.
يُثَبِّتُ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِالْقَوْلِ الثَّابِتِ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ٢٧
Allah keeps fixed those who believe, with the firm word, in worldly life and in the Hereafter.
Paradise is surrounded by hardships, and the Hellfire is surrounded by desires.
Indeed, great reward comes with great trial. When Allah loves a people, He tests them.
وَاسْتَعِينُوا بِالصَّبْرِ وَالصَّلَاةِ وَإِنَّهَا لَكَبِيرَةٌ إِلَّا عَلَى الْخَاشِعِينَ٤٥
And seek help through patience and prayer; indeed, it is difficult except for the humbly submissive to Allah.
أُولَٰئِكَ عَلَيْهِمْ صَلَوَاتٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ وَرَحْمَةٌ١٥٧
Those are the ones upon whom are blessings from their Lord and mercy, and it is those who are the guided.
إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الصَّابِرِينَ١٤٦
And many a prophet fought alongside him many devout men; but they never lost heart, nor wavered, nor were brought low. Surely Allah loves the patient.
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِذَا لَقِيتُمۡ فِئَةࣰ فَٱثۡبُتُواْ وَٱذۡكُرُواْ ٱللَّهَ كَثِيرࣰ ا لَّعَلَّكُمۡ تُفۡلِحُونَ٤٥
O you who believe, when you meet an army, be patient and remember Allah much, that you may be successful
وَاصْبِرْ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لاَ يُضِيعُ أَجْرَ الْمُحْسِنِينَ١١٥
And be patient, for indeed Allah does not allow the reward of those who do good to be lost.
