مَن كانَ يُريدُ الحَيوٰةَ الدُّنيا وَزينَتَها نُوَفِّ إِلَيهِم أَعمٰلَهُم فيها وَهُم فيها لا يُبخَسونَ١٥
Whoever desires the life of this world and its adornments - We fully repay them for their deeds therein, and they therein will not be deprived
أُولٰئِكَ الَّذينَ لَيسَ لَهُم فِى الءاخِرَةِ إِلَّا النّارُ ۖ وَحَبِطَ ما صَنَعوا فيها وَبٰطِلٌ ما كانوا يَعمَلونَ١٦
Those are the ones for whom there is not in the Hereafter but the Fire. And lost is what they did therein, and worthless is what they used to do
وَلَأَجرُ الءاخِرَةِ خَيرٌ لِلَّذينَ ءامَنوا وَكانوا يَتَّقونَ٥٧
And the reward of the Hereafter is better for those who believed and were fearing Allah
لَهُم عَذابٌ فِى الحَيوٰةِ الدُّنيا ۖ وَلَعَذابُ الءاخِرَةِ أَشَقُّ ۖ وَما لَهُم مِنَ اللَّهِ مِن واقٍ٣٤
For them will be punishment in the life of [this] world, and the punishment of the Hereafter is more severe. And they will not have from Allah any protector
إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَبسُطُ الرِّزقَ لِمَن يَشاءُ وَيَقدِرُ ۚ إِنَّهُ كانَ بِعِبادِهِ خَبيرًا بَصيرًا٣٠
Indeed, your Lord extends provision for whom He wills and restricts [it]. Indeed He is ever, concerning His servants, Acquainted and Seeing
وَمَن كانَ فى هٰذِهِ أَعمىٰ فَهُوَ فِى الءاخِرَةِ أَعمىٰ وَأَضَلُّ سَبيلًا٧٢
And whoever is blind in this [life] will be blind in the Hereafter and more astray in way
الَّذينَ ضَلَّ سَعيُهُم فِى الحَيوٰةِ الدُّنيا وَهُم يَحسَبونَ أَنَّهُم يُحسِنونَ صُنعًا١٠٤
[They are] those whose effort is lost in worldly life, while they think that they are doing well in work
وَكَذٰلِكَ نَجزى مَن أَسرَفَ وَلَم يُؤمِن بِـٔايٰتِ رَبِّهِ ۚ وَلَعَذابُ الءاخِرَةِ أَشَدُّ وَأَبقىٰ١٢٧
And thus do We recompense he who transgressed and did not believe in the signs of his Lord. And the punishment of the Hereafter is more severe and more enduring
إِن هِىَ إِلّا حَياتُنَا الدُّنيا نَموتُ وَنَحيا وَما نَحنُ بِمَبعوثينَ٣٧
Life is not but our worldly life - we die and live, but we will not be resurrected
تِلكَ الدّارُ الءاخِرَةُ نَجعَلُها لِلَّذينَ لا يُريدونَ عُلُوًّا فِى الأَرضِ وَلا فَسادًا ۚ وَالعٰقِبَةُ لِلمُتَّقينَ٨٣
That home of the Hereafter We assign to those who do not desire exaltedness upon the earth or corruption. And the [best] outcome is for the righteous
