ثُمَّ كانَ مِنَ الَّذينَ ءامَنوا وَتَواصَوا بِالصَّبرِ وَتَواصَوا بِالمَرحَمَةِ١٧
And then being among those who believed and advised one another to patience and advised one another to compassion
إِنّا كُنّا مِن قَبلُ نَدعوهُ ۖ إِنَّهُ هُوَ البَرُّ الرَّحيمُ٢٨
Indeed, we used to supplicate Him before. Indeed, it is He who is the Beneficent, the Merciful
وَإِن يَمسَسكَ اللَّهُ بِضُرٍّ فَلا كاشِفَ لَهُ إِلّا هُوَ ۖ وَإِن يُرِدكَ بِخَيرٍ فَلا رادَّ لِفَضلِهِ ۚ يُصيبُ بِهِ مَن يَشاءُ مِن عِبادِهِ ۚ وَهُوَ الغَفورُ الرَّحيمُ١٠٧
And if Allah should touch you with adversity, there is no remover of it except Him; and if He intends for you good, then there is no repeller of His bounty. He causes it to reach whom He wills of His servants. And He is the Forgiving, the Merciful
قُل هُوَ الرَّحمٰنُ ءامَنّا بِهِ وَعَلَيهِ تَوَكَّلنا ۖ فَسَتَعلَمونَ مَن هُوَ فى ضَلٰلٍ مُبينٍ٢٩
Say, "He is the Most Merciful; we have believed in Him, and upon Him we have relied. And you will [come to] know who it is that is in clear error
وَلِلَّهِ مُلكُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالأَرضِ ۚ يَغفِرُ لِمَن يَشاءُ وَيُعَذِّبُ مَن يَشاءُ ۚ وَكانَ اللَّهُ غَفورًا رَحيمًا١٤
And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. He forgives whom He wills and punishes whom He wills. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful
قٰلَ رَبِّ احكُم بِالحَقِّ ۗ وَرَبُّنَا الرَّحمٰنُ المُستَعانُ عَلىٰ ما تَصِفونَ١١٢
[The Prophet] has said, "My Lord, judge [between us] in truth. And our Lord is the Most Merciful, the one whose help is sought against that which you describe
وَتَوَكَّل عَلَى العَزيزِ الرَّحيمِ٢١٧
And rely upon the Exalted in Might, the Merciful
نُزُلًا مِن غَفورٍ رَحيمٍ٣٢
As accommodation from a [Lord who is] Forgiving and Merciful
وَالَّذينَ يُؤمِنونَ بِما أُنزِلَ إِلَيكَ وَما أُنزِلَ مِن قَبلِكَ وَبِالءاخِرَةِ هُم يوقِنونَ٤
And who believe in what has been revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and what was revealed before you, and of the Hereafter they are certain [in faith]
خَتَمَ اللَّهُ عَلىٰ قُلوبِهِم وَعَلىٰ سَمعِهِم ۖ وَعَلىٰ أَبصٰرِهِم غِشٰوَةٌ ۖ وَلَهُم عَذابٌ عَظيمٌ٧
Allah has set a seal upon their hearts and upon their hearing, and over their vision is a veil. And for them is a great punishment
