إِنَّما يَعمُرُ مَسٰجِدَ اللَّهِ مَن ءامَنَ بِاللَّهِ وَاليَومِ الءاخِرِ وَأَقامَ الصَّلوٰةَ وَءاتَى الزَّكوٰةَ وَلَم يَخشَ إِلَّا اللَّهَ ۖ فَعَسىٰ أُولٰئِكَ أَن يَكونوا مِنَ المُهتَدينَ١٨
The mosques of Allah are only to be maintained by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day and establish prayer and give zakah and do not fear except Allah, for it is expected that those will be of the [rightly] guided
وَما مَنَعَهُم أَن تُقبَلَ مِنهُم نَفَقٰتُهُم إِلّا أَنَّهُم كَفَروا بِاللَّهِ وَبِرَسولِهِ وَلا يَأتونَ الصَّلوٰةَ إِلّا وَهُم كُسالىٰ وَلا يُنفِقونَ إِلّا وَهُم كٰرِهونَ٥٤
And what prevents their expenditures from being accepted from them but that they have disbelieved in Allah and in His Messenger and that they come not to prayer except while they are lazy and that they do not spend except while they are unwilling
وَأَوحَينا إِلىٰ موسىٰ وَأَخيهِ أَن تَبَوَّءا لِقَومِكُما بِمِصرَ بُيوتًا وَاجعَلوا بُيوتَكُم قِبلَةً وَأَقيمُوا الصَّلوٰةَ ۗ وَبَشِّرِ المُؤمِنينَ٨٧
And We inspired to Moses and his brother, "Settle your people in Egypt in houses and make your houses [facing the] qiblah and establish prayer and give good tidings to the believers
قالوا يٰشُعَيبُ أَصَلوٰتُكَ تَأمُرُكَ أَن نَترُكَ ما يَعبُدُ ءاباؤُنا أَو أَن نَفعَلَ فى أَموٰلِنا ما نَشٰؤُا۟ ۖ إِنَّكَ لَأَنتَ الحَليمُ الرَّشيدُ٨٧
They said, "O Shu'ayb, does your prayer command you that we should leave what our fathers worship or not do with our wealth what we please? Indeed, you are the forbearing, the discerning
قُل لِعِبادِىَ الَّذينَ ءامَنوا يُقيمُوا الصَّلوٰةَ وَيُنفِقوا مِمّا رَزَقنٰهُم سِرًّا وَعَلانِيَةً مِن قَبلِ أَن يَأتِىَ يَومٌ لا بَيعٌ فيهِ وَلا خِلٰلٌ٣١
[O Muhammad], tell My servants who have believed to establish prayer and spend from what We have provided them, secretly and publicly, before a Day comes in which there will be no exchange, nor any friendships
أَقِمِ الصَّلوٰةَ لِدُلوكِ الشَّمسِ إِلىٰ غَسَقِ الَّيلِ وَقُرءانَ الفَجرِ ۖ إِنَّ قُرءانَ الفَجرِ كانَ مَشهودًا٧٨
Establish prayer at the decline of the sun [from its meridian] until the darkness of the night and [also] the Qur'an of dawn. Indeed, the recitation of dawn is ever witnessed
وَإِذ بَوَّأنا لِإِبرٰهيمَ مَكانَ البَيتِ أَن لا تُشرِك بى شَيـًٔا وَطَهِّر بَيتِىَ لِلطّائِفينَ وَالقائِمينَ وَالرُّكَّعِ السُّجودِ٢٦
And [mention, O Muhammad], when We designated for Abraham the site of the House, [saying], "Do not associate anything with Me and purify My House for those who perform Tawaf and those who stand [in prayer] and those who bow and prostrate
الَّذينَ إِذا ذُكِرَ اللَّهُ وَجِلَت قُلوبُهُم وَالصّٰبِرينَ عَلىٰ ما أَصابَهُم وَالمُقيمِى الصَّلوٰةِ وَمِمّا رَزَقنٰهُم يُنفِقونَ٣٥
Who, when Allah is mentioned, their hearts are fearful, and [to] the patient over what has afflicted them, and the establishers of prayer and those who spend from what We have provided them
الَّذينَ إِن مَكَّنّٰهُم فِى الأَرضِ أَقامُوا الصَّلوٰةَ وَءاتَوُا الزَّكوٰةَ وَأَمَروا بِالمَعروفِ وَنَهَوا عَنِ المُنكَرِ ۗ وَلِلَّهِ عٰقِبَةُ الأُمورِ٤١
[And they are] those who, if We give them authority in the land, establish prayer and give zakah and enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong. And to Allah belongs the outcome of [all] matters
يٰأَيُّهَا الَّذينَ ءامَنُوا اركَعوا وَاسجُدوا وَاعبُدوا رَبَّكُم وَافعَلُوا الخَيرَ لَعَلَّكُم تُفلِحونَ ۩٧٧
O you who have believed, bow and prostrate and worship your Lord and do good - that you may succeed
