Jannah (Paradise) Quotes
Quran and Hadith about Paradise — what awaits the righteous, and the rewards of patience and faith.
يُبَشِّرُهُم رَبُّهُم بِرَحمَةٍ مِنهُ وَرِضوٰنٍ وَجَنّٰتٍ لَهُم فيها نَعيمٌ مُقيمٌ٢١
Their Lord gives them good tidings of mercy from Him and approval and of gardens for them wherein is enduring pleasure
وَالَّذينَ ءامَنوا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ أُولٰئِكَ أَصحٰبُ الجَنَّةِ ۖ هُم فيها خٰلِدونَ٨٢
But they who believe and do righteous deeds - those are the companions of Paradise; they will abide therein eternally
وَلَو أَنَّ أَهلَ الكِتٰبِ ءامَنوا وَاتَّقَوا لَكَفَّرنا عَنهُم سَيِّـٔاتِهِم وَلَأَدخَلنٰهُم جَنّٰتِ النَّعيمِ٦٥
And if only the People of the Scripture had believed and feared Allah, We would have removed from them their misdeeds and admitted them to Gardens of Pleasure
وَما لَنا لا نُؤمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَما جاءَنا مِنَ الحَقِّ وَنَطمَعُ أَن يُدخِلَنا رَبُّنا مَعَ القَومِ الصّٰلِحينَ٨٤
And why should we not believe in Allah and what has come to us of the truth? And we aspire that our Lord will admit us [to Paradise] with the righteous people
إِنَّ الَّذينَ ءامَنوا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ يَهديهِم رَبُّهُم بِإيمٰنِهِم ۖ تَجرى مِن تَحتِهِمُ الأَنهٰرُ فى جَنّٰتِ النَّعيمِ٩
Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds - their Lord will guide them because of their faith. Beneath them rivers will flow in the Gardens of Pleasure
إِنَّ الَّذينَ ءامَنوا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ وَأَخبَتوا إِلىٰ رَبِّهِم أُولٰئِكَ أَصحٰبُ الجَنَّةِ ۖ هُم فيها خٰلِدونَ٢٣
Indeed, they who have believed and done righteous deeds and humbled themselves to their Lord - those are the companions of Paradise; they will abide eternally therein
وَما هٰذِهِ الحَيوٰةُ الدُّنيا إِلّا لَهوٌ وَلَعِبٌ ۚ وَإِنَّ الدّارَ الءاخِرَةَ لَهِىَ الحَيَوانُ ۚ لَو كانوا يَعلَمونَ٦٤
And this worldly life is not but diversion and amusement. And indeed, the home of the Hereafter - that is the [eternal] life, if only they knew
وَجَزىٰهُم بِما صَبَروا جَنَّةً وَحَريرًا١٢
And will reward them for what they patiently endured [with] a garden [in Paradise] and silk [garments]
تَرَى الظّٰلِمينَ مُشفِقينَ مِمّا كَسَبوا وَهُوَ واقِعٌ بِهِم ۗ وَالَّذينَ ءامَنوا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ فى رَوضاتِ الجَنّاتِ ۖ لَهُم ما يَشاءونَ عِندَ رَبِّهِم ۚ ذٰلِكَ هُوَ الفَضلُ الكَبيرُ٢٢
You will see the wrongdoers fearful of what they have earned, and it will [certainly] befall them. And those who have believed and done righteous deeds will be in lush regions of the gardens [in Paradise] having whatever they will in the presence of their Lord. That is what is the great bounty
وَبَشِّرِ الَّذينَ ءامَنوا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ أَنَّ لَهُم جَنّٰتٍ تَجرى مِن تَحتِهَا الأَنهٰرُ ۖ كُلَّما رُزِقوا مِنها مِن ثَمَرَةٍ رِزقًا ۙ قالوا هٰذَا الَّذى رُزِقنا مِن قَبلُ ۖ وَأُتوا بِهِ مُتَشٰبِهًا ۖ وَلَهُم فيها أَزوٰجٌ مُطَهَّرَةٌ ۖ وَهُم فيها خٰلِدونَ٢٥
And give good tidings to those who believe and do righteous deeds that they will have gardens [in Paradise] beneath which rivers flow. Whenever they are provided with a provision of fruit therefrom, they will say, "This is what we were provided with before." And it is given to them in likeness. And they will have therein purified spouses, and they will abide therein eternally
